Our Story
Alluvial refers to sediment; sand, silt gravel, clay, deposited by flowing water over time. Think riverbeds, floodplains, river deltas. The material settles gradually, layer by layer, carried from somewhere else and left behind.
In Grand Junction, which sits at the confluence of the Colorado and Gunnison rivers in a valley shaped entirely by that kind of erosion and deposit, it has genuine regional resonance.
